K8 Hardy is a New York based artist, who has Hardy is most famous for fashion, but she also works through performance art, Video art and sculpture and has directed music videos for groups including Le Tigre, Lesbians on Ecstasy, and Men. Her work has been exhibited and performed internationally at venues including, MoMA PS1, Artists Space, The Tate Modern and Galerie Sonja Junkers etc. Overall, she's collaborated with Wynne Greenwood to create th TV Lip Synch in 2002. In 2004, she dressed all in white, makes gymnastic contortions in front of a projected video while shouting “I am happy; I am here; I am hurt. I’m ready!” in a variety of ranges that require a month of vocal training for the Beautiful Radiant Energy. And to 2016, she's created many more video and has changed fashion styles from 2001 to 2012.

The reason I am looking at K8 Hardy is because she's created video clips and unusual art that couldn't be explained if you don't understand the meaning of art. I'm intrigued with how she presents her work and how it is developed and to be honest I may not use her work, but I would like to see if I could apply something that she's created In my work. Also, it's like she shows awareness in her work. For Example, in the Beautiful Radiant Energy, she used different vocal cords and shouting how she feels, which could imply that people don't understand how you feel or know how you feel, and maybe you're ready to show everyone what you're made of.
