Jeremy Scott
Jeremy Scott is an American Fashion designer, who is the creative director of the fashion house Moschino and the sole owner of his namesake label. He's worked for brands like Adidas, but he's consistently creating clothes for various celebrities like Rita Ora, Madonna, Nicki Minaj, Beyonce and Miley Cyrus.
While looking for a job in 1996 in the fashion industry, he ran into a PR for Jean Paul Gaultier who liked his hair and he got a job promoting parties at a nightclub, but with no luck with fashion jobs, he decided to create his own brand and in 1997, it made its debut in a bar near Bastille. Scraps of fabric from the Porte de Clignancourt flea market resembling garbage bags were used in the follow-up show, which was all in black. It was described by Jeremy as "Blade Runner, trash bags and the apocalypse." Later on, The collection was exhibited in the influential Parisian shop Colette, which has carried Jeremy Scott ever since. Jeremy Scott made a show about 1980s decadence as the first designer to revive the eighties. The show was planned by Vogue and others and he considered it as "the gold show" as the hardest moment of his career.
Through 2002 to 2015, he's collaborated with Adidas with a variety of projects for the company and in 2011. He became the Moschino's creative director. For the brand, he re-told the fashion gags for the 2014 fall and wanted to make it through the eyes of an American, which is like McDonalds, popcorn etc.
To be honest, I have researched Jeremy Scott because he started from the bottom and made it to the top by using his imagination and made clothes out of old materials, which is relatable to my project as it's to do with recycling. he's come so far and he's obviously popular with celebrities as they want him to create something unique for them.
