Final Outcome

Overall, this is my final design and I will use this for my overall brand, including posters, mu online shop and catalogue pages. In my opinion, it look classy and professional, but simple and it makes people understand what the brand is actually for.

Development

To create the logo piece, I used Illustrator and an image form my primary images to start the development. I then used the pen tool to outline the needle in black to create an illustrated effect and took the primary image away.

Furthermore, I continued using the pen tool to draw different types of infinity designs to see which was appropriate for the design. I wanted to have a 'off look' infinity sign to make it interesting and maybe upbeat rather than having it completely perfect, which seems a bit boring for the brand that I want to create.

Once I finished the infinity sign, I pulled down the sign to make it look like thread going through the needle, which makes it subtle and understandable as it's a clothing brand. I then went on Photoshop to add the typeface to the design and rubbed the design that was in the way of the typography, which made it look like it went through the letters in the end.
